How Corner Team Is Addressing COVID-19 To Keep Its Staff & Members Safe

COVID-19 endangers not only the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of our staff, members, and community but, it also endangers Corner Team's ability to keep its doors open and its programs operating. To fight COVID-19 and to protect the health and wellbeing of our entire community, we ask that our family and guests practice safe and healthy behaviors, support programming, and spread the word about our organization.

Here is what we're doing to keep our entire family safe:

  • Following Federal, State, and local ordinances. Currently, Corner Team is operating at 100% capacity (as of 05/14/2021. see Mayor's Executive Order)

  • Requiring the use of personal boxing gear to prevent spread of virus

  • Removing equipment to provide at least 10 ft. of space in between stations

  • Requiring masks or facial coverings at all times when in the facility

  • Taking temperatures of all who enter the facility (if over 99.5, you will be asked to come back another day)

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all common surfaces and equipment after each class and between sessions

  • Adding hand washing and sanitizing stations around the facility

  • Posting reminders throughout the facility about healthy behaviors and rules to effectively fight COVID-19

Here is what we ask of you:

  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell in any way or are experiencing any type of related symptom!

  • Stay home if you have been exposed to someone who is COVID-19 positive or potentially is COVID-19 positive. Please alert Corner Team by email or by phone if you have been exposed or potentially exposed in order for Corner Team staff to make appropriate decisions for organization operations

  • Enter facility with facial covering and wear facial covering at all times (including on your exit from the facility)

  • Practice safe social distancing at all times (at least 6ft)

  • Wash and sanitize your hands in between activities

  • Sanitize equipment after use

  • Donate, Donate, Donate here (when you can) even as much as $5 to keep our programs and organization going during this pandemic!

  • Remember, as a small nonprofit, our Coaching staff is all volunteer so please assist staff (when possible) to clean up facilities at the end of your session. #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork
