Reenactor – Living History Day at Mount Auburn Cemetery (Multiple Positions)
Corner Team, Inc. is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to serve as Historical Reenactors for Living History Day, part of the Joe Gans 150th Celebration. Reenactors will portray real individuals buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery—educators, veterans, civic leaders, and cultural figures whose legacies shaped Baltimore’s Black history.
Through storytelling and site-based performance, reenactors will help bring these powerful stories to life during a self-guided walking tour for the public.
Summer STEM Coach
Corner Team, Inc. is seeking an energetic and team-oriented STEM Coach. The STEM Coach is responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality STEM-Sports program component for high school age students during the 5-week Summer Youth Champions Club program. This program aims to engage students of all abilities in sports-focused STEM activities, fostering skill development in STEM disciplines.
The STEM Coach position is an hourly, part-time role during summer 2025. Staff orientation and training is required and will take place June 24-June 26 from 9:30-3pm each day. Summer program is July 8 to August 9. The STEM Coach will work Tuesday/Thursday from 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-12:30pm. Additional Saturday hours will be available (not required) for summer special events.
Summer Boxing Coach
Corner Team, Inc. is seeking an energetic and team-oriented Boxing Coach. The Boxing Coach is responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality boxing training experience for 38-40 high school age students during the 5-week Summer Youth Champions Club program. The Boxing Coach will ensure the safety and well-being of participants, and foster an environment of respect, discipline, grit, and teamwork.
The Boxing Coach position is an hourly, part-time role during summer 2025. Staff orientation and training is required and will take place June 24-June 26 from 9:30-3pm each day. Summer program is July 8 to August 9. Summer program is July 8 to August 9. Boxing Coach will work Tuesday/Thursday from 10:30am-2pm and Saturday Noon-2pm. Additional Saturday hours will be available (not required) for summer special events.

Volunteer Opportunities:
ASSISTANT BOXING & FITNESS COACHES -
Our Assistant Boxing & Fitness Coaches are responsible for working with Corner Team’s Head Coach to develop and lead a high quality boxing and fitness program that teaches the fundamentals and techniques of Olympic-style boxing, the importance of health and fitness, teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership. All Assistant Boxing & Fitness Coaches must pass a background check in order to work with our students.
LEARNING COACHES -
Our Youth Champions receive academic support three times a week, goal setting support, and an annual assessment. We are looking for Learning Coaches- volunteers to tutor our students in all subjects. Learning Coaches are needed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30pm - 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 10:30am - 1:00pm. We ask that you commit to at least one day per week. Consistency and stability are very important for our Champions’ success. All Learning Coaches must pass a background check in order to work with our students.
EVENTS/ADMINISTRATIVE/FACILITY -
Corner Team, Inc. hosts several different events each year. We’re always looking for help with registration, concessions, event setup, and committee roles. Are you available to come in during the day to help with event décor? How about helping us to deep clean our building, plant flowers, or organize school supplies? These roles do not require a background check and may not work directly with our young champions.
PROGRAM EXPOSURE -
Our Champions love to learn new things, meet new people, and be exposed to different careers, arts, athletics, and hobbies. Interested in coming to visit one day to share your career with our Champions? Want to set up a workshop to teach Capoeira, graphic design, knitting, or sound engineering?
